Oh, The Weather Outside...
Well, it's winter in Ohio again. Do you all have your studded snow tires on your vehicles or have you decided to go with chains this year? Either way, we know it'll only last about nine months so let's make the best of it, shall we? The boys will be heating things up in some cool night spots in January. On Friday the 20th we're back at Wing Warehouse for the best wings in northeastern Ohio. We'll close out the month on Saturday the 28th by going home to Rafters. We'd love to see youse guys at the afore mentioned venues. Just remember, bundle up and wear your rubbers!
Anybody Hungry?
Well, we have the Championship games and the Superbowl left and the football season is over. (Does anybody even care about the Pro-Bowl anymore?) Anyway, we can still get together on Sunday afternoon for a good time, right? Sunday, January 29th, Rafters is hosting a Soup Cook-Off from 1:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. There is no admission, all Phil wants you to do is come out, try the soups, judge them and, oh yeah, have a couple cold ones. The awards will be "People's Choice" so by all means stop in and taste for yourself. Rumor has it Dennis is entering his Stuffed Hot Pepper soup. Zesty!
Where The Hell Is That Groundhog?
Before we know it we'll be in February and there are a few different things going on. Canton Club’s Executive Chef Mark Pullin, winner of the Taste of the NFL, is going to Indy for the 21st Annual Super Bowl Party with a Purpose! The following weekend Chef Mark will be home for Second Friday on February 10th. Dennis will be playing solo (solo that you won't hear him) from 6:30-9:30. The usual First Friday menu will be available as well as Valentine dinners for two. If that's too early for you celebrate the official day of love, perhaps you'll want to check out "Law, Love and Chocolate" on Monday the 13th. We're Doing What On A School Night?
On Wednesday, February 22nd, the fellas will be doing the weeknight party thing at Nathan's Patio from 9 - Midnight. Nathan's has great food and a great atmosphere. It's been a while since we did this weeknight thing. Won't you join us again?
